When you allow somebody else to work on your car, you're giving them responsibility for its long term well-being and for your safety. At Phoenix we understand how you feel about your car, and that's why you'll always get the thorough and honest treatment we've become famous for.

Since 2004, we have been preparing, repairing and servicing Lotuses, race cars and specialist cars here at our Accrington workshop. With that experience we've come to understand how important your cars are to you. They are your pride. They give you results at the track.

The History and the People

Ollie Sadler has been a full time mechanic since 1982, working first on, in his words, “Tractors and Aston Martins.” All that time motorsport was his passion and he'd spend his weekends helping out racers on cars and motorbikes, sometimes taking part himself! In 1999 he made motorsport his full time job working for a range of historic F1 teams before later setting up his own workshop.

Since then, Ollie's love of motorsport and everything mechanical has kept him and his colleague Greg busy preparing everything from Goodwood FoS cars through to Radical UK Cup racers. He's even carefully restored a pink Vanwall pedal car for his daughter to ride around in!

Mandy looks after your account, and is there to make sure the stuff Ollie doesn't like, such as admin, gets done.

Brian doesn't do much work. Mostly he eats paperwork, jumps up and down excitedly, or sleeps. Brian is a dog.

Today our skill and knowledge is available to everybody in the North West and beyond, whether you have a Lotus, a specialist road car or a race car.
